ELECON- ET Series of helical and bevel helical modular gear units. Available to cope with power requirements up to 7,700KW in the helical configuration and 2,850KW in bevel helical form. This range of gearboxes are foot mounted with solid output shafts or hollow shaft arrangement. Ratios are available from 1.6:1 up to 630:1 with maximum torque capacities of 725,800Nm. The ET series are oil bath lubricated but for higher powers cooling coils and forced lubrication systems can be fitted.

ELECON- ET series bevel helical gearboxes are available for vertical output shaft configuration, as used for example in cooling tower applications with power capacities from 26 to 194kW. Ratios range from 6.3 to 18:1 with maximum torque capacities of 80150Nm. Bearings and gears in this design are force lubricated using an integrated pump.
All ET series transmissions incorporate high quality case hardened and ground gearing and/or case hardened and lapped spiral bevel gearing mounted in rigidly design cast iron housings.

ELECON provide a wide range of transmissions outside the standard ET range such as this triple reduction helical gearbox supplied with a fabricated steel case and double keyed output shaft for steel works applications. Other transmissions include bevel helical, planetary gearboxes for bucket wheel and travel drives, used on stacker reclaimer applications. Extruder gear units for single and double screw machines, high speed transmissions for turbine driven equipment such as generators and circulating pumps and marine helical reduction gearboxes for offshore patrol vessels transmitting up to 4,700kW.
