At Lancereal, we are committed to protecting and enhancing the environment, making a positive impact on our employees, customers, suppliers, and the community; and conducting business with integrity and high standards of business ethics.
Environmental
Supporting our industry’s journey to environmental sustainability is a key consideration for Lancereal, and processes and activities across our business demonstrate our commitment to this.
We carefully vet our suppliers for their ability to meet high environmental standards, and we are working closely with our supply chain to reduce the use of single-use plastics. We also re-use packaging where possible, to minimise waste.
To reduce our carbon footprint, LED lighting and smart lighting has been integrated into our facilities, and we have introduced electric vehicles into our fleet.
Environmental sustainability initiatives such as our Cycle to Work scheme are also in operation and are embraced by our team.
In addition, through our work in delivering vehicle and equipment electrification technology and expertise, and creating more efficient powertrain solutions, we are helping customers across the world to reduce carbon emissions and develop less energy intensive products.
Social
The health and wellbeing of our team is essential to Lancereal, and we create a fair, inclusive working environment where our staff can thrive, and where everyone’s contribution is valued.
We are deeply committed to serving our local community in West Yorkshire. We provide opportunities for local people are developing a new generation of engineers through our apprenticeship schemes. We also work closely with education providers including schools, colleges and universities, and engage with local charities through team fundraising initiatives.
Lancereal has developed a code of conduct for our suppliers and we robustly audit our supply chain to ensure we only use suppliers who behave ethically towards their staff and communities.
Governance
Integrity is one of Lancereal’s core values, and this is reflected in how the company is governed.
We are committed to maintaining high standards of internal and external business behaviour by applying a strong code of ethics and business conduct, implementing ongoing ethics training for our team, and promoting a culture of integrity, honesty, and ethical and responsible conduct in our activities and behaviour.
With a strong leadership structure in place, we ensure a robust oversight and transparency at all levels of our business, and we have developed and implemented a robust risk mitigation policy, which reflects the global nature of our operations.
